About Me
Hello everyone! I’m excited to introduce myself. I’m a 33-year-old mother who is eager to share my journey and experiences with others. I live a healthy lifestyle, following a vegetarian diet and regularly practicing yoga, Pilates, and going to the gym. My greatest joy and love is my one-year-old daughter, who brings me happiness, fulfillment, and challenges every single day.
In my youth, I was an enthusiastic horse rider. However, after I turned 21, I took a break from riding. I started questioning the world and the society we live in. I knew I needed to find out more about life. I started traveling to do volunteering and teach English in schools, first in India and then in Nepal. During my travels, I took the Trans-Siberian Express and discovered many new cultures and experiences, falling in love with the diversity and people of the different countries I visited.
Safe to say that traveling gave me a lot of perspective on life.
When I was 25, I landed a 9-to-5 office job but continued to save for future travels. It was during this time that I met my boyfriend, and we started our journey as friends. Two years later, I was planning a trip to the Philippines, and he wanted to join last minute. Eventually, we fell in love and started traveling more together.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to our travels, and we had to stay in Belgium, where we’re based. Despite this setback, I continued to lead an active lifestyle, and eventually became pregnant with our beautiful baby girl. Becoming a mom has been my biggest adventure of all, and it inspired me to start this blog.
You read all these love stories. But motherhood is tough. I want to share an honest opinion, not only pink clouds and blue skies. Of course, there are a lot of really amazing feelings too, and I talk about both.
So, happy reading.
